I need to check out some thrift shops in my area because i spend way too much money on regular retail stores. Don't get my wrong i love the quality items at H&M,Forever 21,American Eagle,Urban Outfitters,Abercombie,Hollister,&& American Apparel, but wouldn't it be great to buy a crap load of stuff with $100 dollars then like 4 shirts maybe and like a pair of shoes with $100 especially if that's all you have i sound broke as hell right now but i kept telling my mom i wanted to check out thrift shops and stuff i just need to get my lazy butt of the damn computer and go look for them. Are Thrift Stores,Vintage Shops, And The Salvation Army The Same thing ?
*edit*: Okay So i googled All three Things and it seems as though The Salvation Army is :a charitable and religious organization to evangelize and to care for the poor and homeless
A Thrift Shop is: establishment operated by a charitable organization for the purpose of fundraising.
A Vintage Shop:Vintage shops are not necessarily cheap. Usually they hold specifically selected older clothing that are normally difficult to find

I love Thrift Stores! And yeah, Thrift and vintage shops are totally diff. The only exception is that No Relation Vintage (google it! It's somewhere in East Village) has really great vintage pieces for cheap prices. So it's like a hyrbid mix of the two.
Thrift stores don't guarantee vintage pieces wither, which can be a bummer. But it's always worth the search!
thank you (:
i'll be sure to google it!
